This function allows you bridge the gap between nationalities, with real-time chat translation. With this feature enabled, any message that is not in your server's native language will be automatically translated to your server's default language (configurable).
To enable two-way communication, a player can change their chat language, if the server operator has enabled this functionality.
For example: /t fr {msg}
Would translate everything in the {msg} area, into French. This would allow French players to conveniently read the message.
Translator Commands
- To send a message in an different language /t {country-code} {message} Example: /t fr Hello World
Options
- Setup and Configuration:
- Translate in-bound messages? - Do you want the server to automatically translate messages in other languages, to the default server language?
- Default Server Language - What is the preferred or native language of the server. For most servers, this is likely English
- Translate out-bound messages? - Do you want to allow players to translate their in-game chat messages?
- Changed your settings? - Type /listener-refresh to instantly update the settings in-game.
